To develop our own business idea, we made use of the Design Thinking approach. By paying close attention to every single step of this methodology, we were able to implement every theory, method, and tool appropriate for our project.

RESEARCH
PROTOTYPE
To start developing the concept, we did user research by conducting interviews, surveys, and desk research to understand the user needs, define our target audience, explore the current market and identify a possible solution. We then moved on to exploring the actual business idea by researching circular economy, and subscription services, performing a SWOT/PEST analysis, setting up a Business Model Canvas, defining the mission, vision, and values of the business, establishing the OMD Customer Journey and creating a Value Proposition. For the digital solution, we came up with a website where the user is not only able to learn about the concept and values behind the brand but also sign up in order to subscribe to a package with curated sustainable products for their babies. For this stage, I was fully in charge of creating site maps, wireframes, and prototypes. To validate every single step the Testing stage was also crucial.
